Embark in Lisbon to Honfleur, discovering the coastlines of Portugal, Spain, and France. Start in Leixões, where you’ll explore Porto, known for its UNESCO-listed historic center and renowned wine. From Vigo, Spain’s largest fishing port, visit the pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela, filled with Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque treasures. In Bilbao, marvel at modern art at the Guggenheim Museum and experience the city’s unique energy.
Sail to Bordeaux, where you’ll explore Talmont-sur-Gironde and the historic Cordouan lighthouse, before heading to the picturesque Quiberon peninsula and Douarnenez, with its dramatic coastline and sandy beaches. Conclude your adventure in Cherbourg and the charming port of Honfleur in Normandy. From Glasgow, the adventure continues into the Hebrides, an archipelago of over 150 islands, each with unique natural beauty and historic landmarks. Begin with Iona, where Scotland’s Christianity began, home to an ancient abbey and possibly the origin of the famous Book of Kells. Sail on to Lunga in the Treshnish Isles, a sanctuary for puffins and guillemots, followed by Canna, the “Garden of the Hebrides,” rich in marine birdlife and archaeological treasures from Christian, Celtic, and Nordic history.
The journey then leads to the Outer Hebrides, where you’ll explore the Isle of Lewis and the ancient Callanish standing stones, thought to date back to 2900 BC. Continue to Ullapool, a charming town with white cottages and colorful fishing boats, before visiting Portree on the Isle of Skye. The voyage’s final stop is Tobermory, known for its iconic multicolored waterfront and renowned single malt distillery, before returning to Glasgow for disembarkation.
